Born and raised in a beautiful yet geographically challenged Taplejung, Eastern hilly region of Nepal where, long hours of walk to school was more of a norm. The struggle I faced as a young boy stirred this immense desire to help children in various parts of Nepal who had a fate similar to me and worse. With firm belief that education is the key to solve the socio-economic issues of a nation, on my 20th birthday I decided to be a part of this new initiative to educate Nepal, Sadhbhaw Scholarship. The program primarily helps provide students in rural part of Nepal with scholarship and all educational needs required for a year. It would be safe to say the program is on its way to an accomplishment because we have managed to help thousands of students with aid provided by Nepalis and people from all corners of the world. The program hasn’t dramatically decreased the rate of children dropping out from school early but it has encouraged few hundreds to dream again. It is interesting how the program has helped bring group of people from all walks of life together to provide basic needs to people below the poverty line who work hard to make their ends meet. I consider myself fortunate enough to lead a project that has helped bring change and united people to work for the betterment as a team that contributes towards the future of Nepal. This program can become a feasible example across South Asian region in developing countries having same problems in education.
I have kept two things as my priority and everyday purposes. Rest of the things are mostly hobbies.
I have great appreciation towards the places, moments, works that change livings.

Very few youngsters in Nepal choose to do well, do good. Santosh is one of them. Staying in country and serving needy communities requires a lot of compassion.
Work Santosh is doing since last few years is commandable. I loud this efforts to serve Nepali children in need.
